Hi guys, I wonder if you guys can give me some info on what tyre sizes I will need for the fortune kit (which I am building now)
The wheels are 18 X 9 and 18 X 10 (rear)..
Many thanks
You\'ll need more manly wheels than that to make it look right imho.
I\'d put a 275 on the rear of those, and a 245 on the front, but i\'d be looking at getting something with more width.
You will need to go massive buddy i`ve got 18x9\'s with 245 front and 265 rear on the feed wide kit!
go as big as you can afford! you are gonna need specials though, long wait to get the right offset wheels made up!
and the rest 12" on back and tyres will be roughly 335/330/20

That\'s more like it!!:)
yes i know.. its costing a bit already. I am going to get the spacers made up, hub centric style may be.
245 and 265? what are the profile for 18s?
who has a fortune RX7 on board? can you tell me what you are running?

35 profile
The fortune kit will swallow 18s whole! It won`t look right at all, you need 19s mate. Try finding some wheels that are 9inch front and 12inch rear with 255 front tyres and a massive 305 rear! Trust me i have 10inch rear wheels with 275 on standard arches.
As above matey in running 10\'s with 275\'s at the rear on standard arches and the car has been dropped in the weeds. No rubbing issues.
There has been a couple of built threads for the fortune kit on here. Use the ol\' search tool :)
Chris
think they run with 19x12j rears and 19x10j fronts so yeah as above 255 fronts 325-345 rears WOOHOO!!! ud need 500bhp to turn um lol
Thanks guys ;)
will take a look at some previous threads
Turbo Boy and D2BBA - don\'t suppose you can tell me what offset your wheels are that you have got a 10inch rim on a standard arch? It should be printed on them usually.
Are you running stretched tyres of excess camber to get them in?
I want to move to a 10" rim and a 275 tyre for on-track grip purposes (not looking good or posing....so must fit right) and want to make sure i don\'t buy the wrong wheels!
cheers
Andy
i have 10 x 19s on mine offset is 35 for the feed rear arches to look good need to go down to 15 or 12 offset
