Title: Oil Sandwich plate for temp gauge
Post by: Wav on March 27, 2004, 04:27:07 PM
Hi Guys,

I have now sorted out the what gauges will be going in the central gauge pods,  i.e. the pods we will hopefully be ordering as a group buy in the next few weeks. But now i need to work out where to put the sensors!

I\'m going to be getting an electrical oil temp and an electrical water temp gauge, now where are the best places to locate these? and does anyone have a sandwich plate for locating the sensor between the engine and the oil filter? and if so where from, how much and what make?:D

Any ideas/opinions/words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated, Cheers,

Paul:)

SVS do a GReddy sandwhich plate. From memory about 60 squids. I think Mocal also do one and is probably cheaper. I got mine for SVS, was pleased with the service and the item. One word of warning, dont overtighten anthing into to the plate, its cast Aluminium!!!
