Hi
Could someone please let me know where this buzzer is located under the dash and who can i disconnect it?
The black car that i have has its buzzer staying on all the time. There is no problem with the car what so ever. water level is correct, does not loose any. The fans come kick in on time and drop the temps down. I have tried to earth the damn thing but no its not going off.
I can even hear it soon as i put the key in ignition, not loud but at very low...:2Rolleyes
I think the issue with this car is electric but i hate touching electrics so in order for me to get on with checking things i need to have shut this buzzer off...so where is it and how can i do it? plz plz:Grrr
It may be shorting out to earth already, causing the buzzer to buzz, i think that is how it works as the sensor only has one wire, there is a connector on the wire about a foot back from the sensor in the filler neck, could try disconnecting it there,
Check your power steering plug near the oil filler neck, hangs down by the engine - mine broke and the buzzer came on constantly!!

i have done everything:Grrr
one thing i did see was that the temps sensor under the oil filter was off and the wire could not reach it as the loom is not sitting in its original place. Im taking everything off tonight and try work out wtf is going on:mad:
Incidentally, the buzzer is inside the F100 relay, which is the black box sort of below your dials/above the pedals. I actually de-soldered the buzzer from mine.
yes, it was the F100:( now replaced with no buzzzzzer:Hammer
