Title: DV problems
Post by: Sy. on October 11, 2008, 03:00:40 PM
Hi All

I have a problem with my DV/BOV ... i have it all connected right near the turbo and all is in and welded in .. so no leaks .... but where can i connect the vaccum pipe .... "yes the plemium" but i have things already connected . i tried using the "t" piece that my boost gauge is connect to just to test but it seems it doesnt give a good enough vaccum (DV/BOV from previous Rx7 runing same boost and all re-greesed and cleaned) .. as this also goes to somewhere else .... and from the 2nd place there is a big braided hose coming off that goes somewhere .

Is there anywhere else i can connect it ...

I know my description is not the best . and i am willing "God help you " draw a diagram ... lol ..

Mine goes onto one of the pipes on the inlet manifold, but if you\'ve t\'d it into the pipe 4 the boost gage it should work, are you sure your spring isnt too hard??? i had the same thing with my old MR2 turbo, i took the sring out stretched it n put it back, worked a treat.

ummm not sure as it came from my old rex ... both are running the same boost pressure so i assumed it would work ... maybe ill try the spring stretching ... :D
