Post by: davyv on October 04, 2008, 09:28:07 PM
Would a TO4Z  A/R1.00 be ok on a ported engine or would the 115 be better. Its for street use. Thanks.

Blitzboy got 460@wheels with a TO4z a ported engine, water injection, etc etc. Is that the sort of power your looking for?

I ran a 1.15 hotside, people who went for the 1.0 found it strangled the ported engine top end so went 1.15 anyways

I am looking for about 4-450atw. I have good WI HSF5 with the apexi GT fm, Ron Davis racing rad and all other mods.
I have high flow twins at the mo and just want a change, and the TO4Z seems a good choice to me for responce and good power. I just have to buy one now lol.

I know its quite an old thread but how would a t04r and to4z perform on a standard ported engine with a .86 hotside. I want 420+ at the fly btw. is this hotside too small?

why would you do that?

AFAIK...0.86 isnt divided...0.84 is, so it will help spool...especially if you have a divided manifold to match.....420fwhp isnt that much so with a 0.84...it would spool really well and meet your HP needs.

Post a pic, there should be 0.81 or 0.96 if undivided, or 0.84, 1.0 or 1.15 a/r if divided housing.
