Now then gents, thought i better ask those in the know !!
Is there anything funky i need tool wise for removing the gearbox on a 92 FD ?:confused:
Or is there a link to a faq page or step by step for it ? I know the FD has a gearbox brace as well so will watch for that.
I have done a quick search but nothing jumped out at me, mind you it is friday, was at the pub for lunch so could quite easily have missed something.:King
Big Thanks in advance for any help guys:god:god
Nah its an easy job, everything is easy to get to. shouldnt take more than a couple hours.
There is a link on here about changing the clutch and it describes how to remove the box, got full pics. Jono posted it up, cant find it at the mo tho

there ya go pal
thats awesome guys thanks a lot, just got to get the garage finished then can get the car delivered, then i can start getting the gearboxout, will keep you posted with how i get on and any more questions i have hahah
Hey,
Whilst the gearbox was still in the car, I found it was easier to unbolt the whole clutch from the flywheel. The bolts are a little more accessible than the release bearing.
If you have any probs let me know.
