Title: Tyre Pressure
Post by: SavageUK on September 30, 2008, 05:23:35 PM
Hey all,

Some little doodah let my tyre down and i have to pump it up again.

However im confused, on the wall of the tyre it says 49PSI! (Fortuna Sport F2000) but i hear its more like 30 - 35 on here :S

Anyone got a definitive answer for me?

cheers in advance,

Michael

Check the sticker on the inside of your door bud, tells you there the best pressure for the car

The tyre wall marking will be the max safe pressure, nothing to do with your normal tyre pressure, apart from warning never to exceed it.
Sorry to preach about this but you should be checking tyre pressures (cold) and also tread condition every week or couple of weeks,so you need to know the correct figure ASAP.

yeah i do full checks of everything every 2weeks ish, but usually only check tire tread rather than the actual pressure. Need one of those pieces to measure it.

Found the right pressures to use, cant believe ive never noticed em before :S

Cheers guys
