air filter :
has anyone made use of a cone filter and stuck it inside the orig air box, thus it looks std but you have a better non-paper filter...

All part numbers are here (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34090) front pads are the same as whats in the V6 323 and rear pads from a 929 from memory rear shoes i\'m not sure about as i\'ve never changed them. Aftermarket filters are out there though normal procedure is to put a cone filter straight onto the AFM

sure. I read that link before....but mazda aren\'t going to understand nor give me
the time of day when I asked for :
Fuji brake ltd........................AFP351
Akebono..............................AN343K {for example}

...so V6 323, what do I assume the yr is etc ?

my experience with these mazda and vauxhall people is, all they understand is
reg and yr....."er....er....c20let....er....but you said it was an astra, we don\'t
do a c20let in an astra...." ...aararaararrraghghghg .......

Who else, which other supplier do you recommend I go to with the jap part nos ?

Thanks

Easy option if your supplier doesn\'t want to cross referance (they all have books just for this) is let Clive at mazdarotaryparts supply you with either stock or black diamond if you want a upgraded pad.
