:confused:Just out of inerest is going single a big job and what it the averge cost to do it :driving:driving:driving
I got quotes to go single turbo from Hayward and WGT i can not comment on it being a big job, but i can say it invloves some saving.
Here is what i got from Hayward Rotary:
A single turbo kit with a Garrett GT35r would be needed ::: £3500
Give you some sort of idea
also to get the most out of a single you may want to look at your ancillaries:
fuel pump
secondary injectors
FPR
alloy rad
vmount/fmic intercooler
few other bits as well
The costs of single turbo kits range from £2,500 and up depending on spec/size/manufacturer. Then as said if you don\'t have the ancillaries to support it to get the best out of it. On top of that if your not doing it yourself you have labour costs.
Cheers
James
So all in all sounds very exspencive
DO you have any ancilleries already? For example Front mounted intercooler or ally rad, Aftermarket ECU?
I have a intercooler and Knightsports ecu witch is being changed to a Apexi on wensday
Well thats a good start for sure.
The route i would persoanlly take would be to do the other bits first. BUt you do need to know what kind of turbo/power you want in order to make the best desicisions on what parts best suite your application i.e Track/street drag etc.
Fuel pressure regulater
Alloy rad
Injectors maybe fuel rails depending on what turbo you have in mind
Decent fuel pump
Once you have these you can get your juciy turbine on there and have some fun.
