get them on the car already!!!
nice. i like 5 spokes.
would of though look nicer if it was all white... but once its on ur fc it might prove me wrong =)
wish i can afford a set of matching rims lol
Thanks guys! I think when you see them on the car you will like the polished lip.. especially if its all clean and sparkling.. looks abit gangsta.. but i still like it.. haha..
I have been told that the rears will slip on but i might have problems with the front.. im going to take it to my local tyre people and ask if they will try the wheels on it first.. hopefully i wont have any problems though.. fingers crossed!
Nice wheels-just out of curiosity, where did you find them?
Cheers
col
Thanks mate. I got them from a member on this very forum! Stuck a post in the Wanted section and Chopper left a message within a day or 2.. I love this place more and more everyday! :)
As they say, GET THEM ON THE CAR :Giggle I want to see what they look like too.
what profile tyres u fitting on them..?
lots of ppl here use toyo t1r or sth like that. (thats wot i got but cant remember model name haha)
if they are 17x8 and 17x9 (which is what\'s on mine) you\'ll be looking at 235 45 17 at the front and 255 40 17 at the back (you could go to 265s but 265 is a difficult profile to find)
Toyos come in Proxes T1R and T1S the R is the older model i think
hmm.. my tyres were 205 front n 225 rear. think i should get wider rubber for the back.. more grip.. dunt think i\'ll be using it for drifting.. yet!! =p
I\'ve got 265/40 profile 17 inch Toyo T1Rs on my rears, didnt seem too tricky to source?!

just found there were fewer tyre option available in 265 40 17 than the 255 and they seemed to be a fair bit more expensive
Ha Ha.. i will just take them to the local place and say.. i want low profile tryes for these please.. i\'m kinda simple about this kinda of thing.. I don\'t know anything about tyres... or infact cars! haha...
google blackcircle or etyres
they have wide range of tyres n quite cheap
they are a distributor n get local garages to fit the tyres on their behalf.
Nice mate, very nice. Get them on and post some pics. Was thinking of white wheels myself :)
Thanks dude! Fingers crossed i\'ll have something sorted next week and get the tyres on.. i\'ll take pics as soon as they are on!
Can anyone recommened any centre caps?
I found that with the online tyre places, the prices seemed good, but when you factored in delivery, getting someone to fit and balance them, new valves, etc, the price was about the same as just getting my local place to order and fit them all in one go. Plus that meant I was supporting a small local firm, which counts for something when you need a bit of help. For example, when I found a screw in my tyre at the last minute the evening before setting off to Rotorstock, they helped out big-time, even staying open late so they could fix the puncture properly and re-balance the tyre once it was re-fitted. :Thumbs-up
Just worked out what those wheels you\'ve got there are, they\'re MazdaSpeed MS-01\'s refinished in white aren\'t they? Very nice. Not sure you\'ll have too much luck finding centre caps for em, though

the webiste i mention inc fitting n balance etc. the price online is final price. i sure the garage make some money from it also as they kinda contracted by the distributor.
the place I go to works out cheaper than the all-in online prices and they are a local small business. Only Camskill are cheaper, but you have to add fitting to camskills prices
i dont think you can fit much bigger than the stock rims on the front , the rim will end up hitting the shock spring
you might need to fit some coilovers as these have a smaller dia spring
OR you need to fit spacers
Well.. i just had some guys over to give me a price on some paint work for the car.. It\'s a bit more than i was hoping for but i think it will make a big difference to the car.. but this will now mean i need to put the tyres on hold for maybe another week.. all in good time..
I will get them to fit the wheels for me and hopefully they can tell me if they will fit or not.. failing that i will look in coil overs.. Would new springs do the same job?.. As i know its alot cheaper to get lowering springs than it is a set of coil overs..
Was thinking of sticking these on it..

They Fit!!!... Teaser time! haha.. I\'ll take better pics when she is out my garage.. you can also see the trim has been painted white.. (looks a bit off colour in the pics but its just my camera). They look incredibly sexy with these wheels.. just need some springs to bring it down a bit!

Get some more pics! they do look good from that pic tho :cool
What offset is that? It looks spot on. Just need to lower it.
Any more pictures?
very nice :Thumbsup!
Thanks guys! Chopper will tell you the offset on them.. i don\'t know much about this kinda thing.. haha.. all i know is the back are really really wide.. and it looks bad ass! I promise when the car is more complete i\'ll get some better pics up.. don\'t like to show her off half finished..
Chopper - Thank you again dude.. you are a legend!
No probs, there +35 iirc 9J Rear and 8J front. Should be wide enough i think :Giggle
well they look awesome so far!!!
Cheers dude! I\'m very happy with them.. just need it lowered!
....cut the springs :D
