Title: Mapping
Post by: gandyRX on September 15, 2008, 05:43:30 PM
whilst on rolling road the computer showed that my car was underfueling by quite abit, he had a look at the mapping and said that it needed to be remapped and possibly bigger injectors and fuel pump would help,

just wondering where is the best place to get it remapped and what sort of price will i be looking at

thanks Andy:driving

who mapped the car in the first place??

if its under fueling i wouldn\'t WOT or give it beans until sorted.

depends on where you are located and how far you are willing to travel to get the car mapped.

Where did you get it rolling roaded?
You\'d only be needing bigger injectors etc if the engine has had a fair few mods, really.

Anyway....... Hayward Rotary:

and Rotechnics:

not sure about austec matey i spoke to them about the rex and some guy said they dont touch other cars as there a tvr specialist, even though they had evos, supras, rsturbos, xr3is, scoobys all being worked on inside, yeah there was some knock the ecu controller said 17, is that good or bad not sure what it should be on the rotary engine but on my scoob i was told it shouldnt be more than 12, what should it be?

I forgot to ask him about it but i\'m going in next week. I think like alot of tuners they won\'t just take any rx in just incase it blows.
17 is probably ok but not ideal it\'s when you can here a ping is when you **** a brick.

Depending where you are in Surrey, Super 7 Autos are an RX7 Specialist in Southwater, which is near Horsham (if they are still there?!)

Never used them myself, but if you don\'t want to drive your car too far they may be an option.
