Title: Hi everyone!
Post by: rx-dave on September 14, 2008, 09:28:19 AM
Just thought i\'d make my first post a hello! I\'ve had numerous RX7\'s over the last few years as i run my own small (but busy) Jap import biz. Not had too many of them lately but we are starting to shift a few as the price becomes more affordable......not sure if this is good or bad but we\'ll wait and see.
Anyway, i\'ve usually got a Nissan Skyline GTR (preferably 32\'s) as my toy but i fancied a change so i was lucky enough to buy a wicked RX7 early on Friday morning from a really nice member on here, namely Lawrences stunning Rage blue one :Thumbs-up. It was a real pleasure to buy from someone who has taken great care of their car as i\'m always nervous about these engines. I\'ve had 2 regular customers trying to buy her already but she aint going anywhere for a few years at least! I usually take Sunday mornings off but i\'m going over to my unit now to give her a nice clean and then a good drive for a few hours :3gears-lh.
Dave.

Pics comming as soon as she\'s had a good old clean.......not that she\'s dirt really! Being a car dealer i always would have liked it cheaper but Lawrence made me pay more and to be honest i didn\'t mind as she\'s for me and not for sale :wiggle.

It was as much as I could do to try and recoup some of the tens of thousands of pounds I ploughed into that car, but hey, you got one hell of a car there Dave!
I could have got more exporting it, but I wanted it to go to a UK owner and stay in the UK.

I\'m well pleased with it! I went to a \'show\' last night, bit of a chav fest really but i\'ve never owned such an eyecatching car before, there were people taking pics on the way there from moving cars and when i parked her up she drew a serious amount of attention, not that i was enjoying that......honest
