I\'ve just changed my F100 Relay.
Had the problems that quite a few people have had. Click click click, Windows going down in stages, etc.
Well, now I\'ve put another 1 on, the windows work fine.... except they can still be operated with the ignition off. Is that right?
Also, my coolant beeper used to sometimes have a little session on start up, but settles down after a minute. But since changing the relay, it does a continuous beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep instead of the intermittent beeping.
Any ideas what\'s going on?
I\'m not sure if the relay is causing it, as I did get another replacement one before. But that 1 was faulty & the windows wouldn\'t operate at all, but that also made it do a single long tone. Only when my faulty relay is in, do I get the normal beeping & the windows operate (in stages) only when the ignition is on.
EDIT: Just realised the windows thing is o.k. It cuts off after a bit :P lol Still got the beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep problem though.
