then again a cars worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it ?

Work out the lowest you can possibly sell for and list it at that with no offers

WHAT !!!

NO you list it as the highest you think you could possibly milk it for and then see what offers come in.

i had a car once and paid £80 for i wasnt planing on selling it but put it on ebay just to see what it would fech, stuck a 200 bid on via a pals and came back 3 days later expecting it to be at 99p and it had went for £650.  crazy ..   sold without a second thought.

We collectively need to raise the market value of FD\'s. :)

No FD with rebuild should be sold for less than 7K. :D

I know it\'ll never happen but it\'s a nice thought. lol.

No point in pricing it too high, if people think its over the market value youre just wasting time and money advertising it cos no-one will come and look at it. Except test pilots, of course! With that said, it ought to be worth at least 6 1/2 to 7, but in the market atm? Better off holding on to it until things pick up rather than let it go for less than its worth. People are worrying how to pay the gas bill, let alone how to afford a 20 mpg sports car!

I wish you luck but I can\'t honestly see it going that high.

A year ago my .98 [s reg] with a 1000 mile rebuild, it stuck for ages and only had one offer £7,900

Now this car is 5 years older and I think the market is worse atm.

Very nice example by the look of it but we are talking 15 years old.

If I were looking to value it I\'d have a nose round PistonHeads compare values and also how long they\'ve been up for.

Good luck if you decide to sell.
