just taken out the acv and placed a blanking plate on it with silcone gasket.
spilt air hose is still on (think it runs towards the turbo)
the three hard hoses going into the acv has been blocked off (bit of a botched job but is blocked off) then theres the \'T\' shape hose that is connected to the Pressure sensor, ACV and BOV.
the end that goes to the ACV has been blocked off (bit of a botched job also), people have said to plug into the nipple on the BAC.
Does this have to be connected to the BAC nipple or is it ok just being blocked off?
Prior to fitting the blanking plate the BOV can be heard. not when full boost (ish) the bov just makes a whisper.
Boost gauge is not working now either. i think it is because the acv was plugged in electronically but as the acv is now out then the plug is not plugged in.
am i right in assuming this?
also from the pressure sensor there is another 2 pin plug that is not plugged in anywhere, is this ment to be pluggine in somewhere or is it a test plug?
any advice appreciated :)
See my reply on the air pump thread ! :Giggle:Giggle
You also need to have a seperate boost gauge, cant rely on stock. Prof thread is good and if you do what he has done then all should be ok.
