Really in need of cash as i was made redundant. just spent 8 grand on travel, new engine and other ****. i have a garage full of bits i could do with cashing in before i move to dubai in the next few months. boo hoo:eek
my question is this, can i store my car for 3 years and not have a ****ed engine when i come back. and can i have it exported over there and what costs do es this entail. i have heard all sorts of stuff about them not liking foreign old cars, so they aint allowed. i have also heard they are putting provisions in the law so that classic cars can be imported!!! also does anyone need owt, i have many many spares.:Talking1
im off my head here lads by the way up all night again. :Giggle
I really need the costs if it is possible it will be the only rx in dubai i think

Dunno they got some mad cars out there you know ?
ive seen em but they have very strict import rules , i just really need to know
IIRC As long as you have the correct UK plates and registration docs you can drive it on UK plates as long as it exits the country after 6 or 12 months cant remember which. If it is any different can you let me know please :)
No idea of costs but deffo not the only FD out there, saw one a few years back whilst out there in Lhd form. I believe there is a healthy jap scene both in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

I might completely wrong, but i was under the impression you couldn\'t register a non left-hand-drive car in Dubai, new or old?
i just made a phone call or two and left hand drives only? but he wasnt sure about the new legislation was about 1050 quid to take it over from liverpool. not sure about the other costs
