Just gauging interest into a meet towards the end of the month. It seems like we are really struggling to get a good meet together so lets see what happens from this. Please vote what day and time you think would be the best to meet up. Take into account that the nights are getting shorter, but if thats the only time you can make it then thats fine too. What ever is the most popular we will roll with. Sound fair? When a week or so has passed I\'ll post up the Day and time in another thread.

This is pretty good for me as my mum lives just up the road from here so I can get in the good books by going round to visit afterwards ;) lol
We could always hold the meet at your Mums if you like. Then you\'d really be in the good books.
And we\'d get free brews!
We could do a mum\'s tour, meet at a different persons parent\'s house each month... Genius!! Free brews and home made cakes! Except my mum doesn\'t bake and would make you get your own brew... oh well :Giggle

You should be able to. I voted twice. I didn\'t want to tie people down to one specific day/time if they could make it on more than one.
I\'m sorry mick, I\'m not sure how to edit the poll so that you can vote for the Friday night to. I did set it so that you could vote for more than one option but I guess once you\'ve voted it won\'t let you back in to vote for another. We\'ll just +1 on for the Friday at the end if you like.
I was also hoping for a better response from this thread. I have PM\'d some people that have been to the NW meets in the past but not many have voted yet. I think we could do with a list of peeps in the NW that we can PM the details of the meets as and when they happen.

No I\'m not on RRC, but if you join on here you\'ll be able to send and receive PM\'s. To be honest it\'ll be the best £25 (or how ever much it is now!) you\'ll ever spend. Cheaper insurance discounted tickets to events etc are all perc\'s of being a member. Plus all the knowledge that the other members have. But keep an eye out for posts in this section about the meet regarding date and time.
P.S. All the best for tomorrow take it steady at first but have fun.

Yep as above sat/sun afternoon looks like the winner. I\'m good for either as long as I\'m aloud. My missus had our first Kid yesterday so i\'ll have to see how it goes. Having said that its the head wetting on the sat night so I might be no good for driving on the sunday!

Got there 12:30, went for a walk down the canal. Stayed till 1pm and nobody had turned up. Went off for a drive and got stuck on the motorway going back to preston !

Some guy flew over the car park about 25-30ft off the ground and covered us all in dust from the car park. Good job I didn\'t clean my car!

Yeah I got stuck could have done with following you down the back lanes again to miss the traffic good fun :Giggle was only stuck for about 15 minutes or so.
I got stuck on it and I didn\'t head off down it until abut 8:00 as I went to my Mum\'s after the meet. Was busy all day, the M6 was jammed up as well. Not sure why or if it\'s like that most Sundays?
i got stuck on the way out - but only for about 5 - 10 mins
It was ok going north. Except all the Sunday drivers! Anyway got the pic\'s off Ash only 3 of them I\'m afraid when we first arrived so not all of the people who attended are on them unfortunately. Next time I\'ll make sure I take some of us all.
Once on the M6 South it was just flying along for a change, Nice pics forgot myself next time it will be like a photo shot.
Can see how nice the weather was though ;) We should try and park further round next time to stop the common folk parking in between the rotaries lol

The ones on my doner car are a bit ropey. As in they\'ve been repaired before (not by myself). But if you want to have a look at them you can gladly pop up one night or at the weekend. I\'ll do you the pair cheep enough if they are to your liking.
Oh they are the S5 ones too just to clarify.
what are the rear discs like on the spare car ?
ok as far as I know. Will be rusty but I imagine they will clean up ok. I can pop them on the lathe at work to get the rust off. I\'ll have a look next time I\'m up at the car Stu.

lol, north won the 1st one. South won the 2nd (by quite a margin). 3rd time round who knows. Been doing it for almost 3 yrs !
All light hearted and good to get together. Fun day out even if only going as a spectator.
