Guys got a email earlier from one of the guys that goes there,
As follows:
---------------------------------------
Hi all,
I have just had a phone call from a guy called Rob, duty manager at Mascrat Manor.
He has told me that no more car meetings from any club are to be held there.
He was not happy as it was a directive from his head office, and he has no option but to do as he says.
He has apologised and only had my number as a contact person (god know how as I gave them my number about 5 years ago !!)
Anyway, he agrees he will loose lots of revenue and is trying to get his head office to see that the Japnorthwest meet was always well run and made him good money and that we had been there with their consent since day 1 and also the Police had no objections, it was purely a manager at head office.
---------------------------------------
So just a heads up peeps,
Gurj :Nono!
I just came on here to check if anything had come through as I had heard it was cancelled. Shame
Thats a real shame, just started going back to this !
Shaun
Was just having my tea and getting ready to go, guess I won\'t bother now :reallymad
Some people are still going as its such short notice they reckon everyone will be there anyway. I phoned the pub to get there side and they seem pretty gutted about not doing it anymore. He did say they would be having to turn people away tonight though so not much point trying imo.
If you haven\'t vote in this yet, http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52091 and you want to have a meet up in the north west then please follow the link and post what day and time is best for you.
