do you think me engin is actualy blown? me and my dad are gona drop it in the easter holidays and send it off but we dotn know wether it is actualy blown or not we are goin to get a compresion test and the usual but waht els could it possible be
the prev owner got it from a local import place and it cut out on the way home thats all i can tell you exept the fact that it is turning over fine but the first time we did that we shot out soem white smoke wiht i am guesing is unburned fule
the compression test will reveal all.
It does sound like water seal failure though, as thats what happened to me:( so quite possibly you\'ll need a re-build

YAY.............................. might sound daft but i wouldnt mind a newly rebuilt ported engin ith 3mm apex so it can take some powa ps man are there any pub meets in scotland atal?
there\'s the meet at crail on the 18th of April. Other than that at the moment there\'s not too much with meets at the moment.
I think were just starting to get enough cars for a regular meet up here:D though most of the time there\'s a few cars that break before the meet :rolleyes:
