I have definate proof that this will add at least 550bhp if combined with a bridge port & a huge turbo.

More cobblers, probably.  Ions *should* make no difference to the efficiency or otherwise of the combustion (although i admit my physics / chem knowledge is limited)

Just \'cos it\'s sold by a \'reputable\' company doesn\'t mean it\'s going to work... (although you may have better luck getting your money back)

ah right. yeah i was thinking the same must be crap. i work for a chemical company you see. its not that un feasable as it will make for good atomization. just like car paint spraying.  but i cant see how it will work if you put it in the tank. as the fuel after being charged will have to go first through a pump, then a swirl pot, then a pump and then meters of line, then injectors. all of which are earthed anyway. so surely the fuel should loose its charge fairly rapidly lol. surely these places arent allow to sell such twoddle?

Might add a bit to these items as its almost down my level of expertise.  Air when travelling through a duct can be highly disrupted by bends, joins, etc etc, if air can travel in a more uniform pattern and given a degree of swirling then it can aid combustion in a fairly good way.  As we know better combustion can give smoother power and dare I say it more BHP.  For such a simple device it might do something to your engine but it has to be fitted at the right place.  Most will be fitted at the filter end and will still have a great distance to go before it reaches the manifold and indeed further still before it mixes with the fuel.  personally the physics behind it does make sense and it is plausable to have power gains but I really dont think from the majority of engines out there today.  Science and lots of performance data will only proove me otherwise.  As for those ion things then they are just magnets, magnets that get all the molecules all nice and uniform, in a tank I really can not see the point as it has to travel maybe 20 foot before it reaches its outlet.  Magnets can work, I have actually fitted a pair of magnets to the FC but they have to be as close to the manifold as possible to arrange all those higgledy piggledy molecules into some nice orderly fashion.  How anyone can proove they work to proove that the actual cost is worth the while but they do use these in industry and the physics is very much written in back and white and extremely plausible.  For most of us we will see little if no noticeable gains, for industry then thats a different matter.
