Hi guys and gals,
Im selling my EGI after a long discussion with my Bank, (see troublesome female!). I need to get a more economical/comfortable car for everyday use and get the old Triumph back on the road. I just don\'t have the time or money to really enjoy the RX7 anymore which is sad :(.
The details are as follows.
Bought in feb of this year and has been maintained very well since then. i\'ve put 3500 (thirsty) miles on the clock since feb. She has her oil regularly topped up. She\'s Taxed till end of december and mot\'d till june next year.
The list of additions are as follows;
-Rear spoiler (duck tail style)
-Turbo 2 wheels with very good tyres
-Hi flow manifold (custom made, but bought from Rotechniks so it\'s not a dog)
-Air pump has been removed and blocked off
-Magnecor leads
-FD Spark plugs
-k&N Panel filter - Might have a Mazdaspeed panel filter if i can convice the guy to sell it to me
- New gauge backs so they\'re white but glow blue and red when on
-New lower arms (powder coated red) with poly-bushes
-New/used nearside back box
-Turbo 2 lip spoiler
-Hawk race pads (not fitted)
The bad points!
-The car looks stunning when it\'s valeted but unfortunately has had a 5ft spray job i.e. looks great from 5ft away but there is noticeable peeling around the drivers door. This im told can be sorted for about £80.
-Fuel economy!! she averages about 20 if you drive her sensibly with the occassional heavy footedness.
- I believe the clutch is on it\'s way out but it works if you double clutch.
-As i said paintwork isn\'t brilliant but it\'s not disgusting.
I will be sad to see her go but she must. I will valet her completely so she\'ll look spotless for whomever buys her.
Now as you guys are Rotorheads and i know she\'ll be taken care of i\'ll offer her here for £600 but i\'m going to offer her elsewhere for £800. May seem steep but i\'ve seen some dogs advertised for £1200

Completely forgot to mention that according to Rotechniks computer the car had an engine rebuild at 77000 miles. Now i have no paperwork and for obvious reasons can\'t get any either so i\'m not asking for more money for that reason, i just thought i\'d let you know.
ah it sucks that you\'ve got to sell.
2 questions tho.
1) how much for the hawk pads

Dials are from Ebay 30 quid from the states inc postage and i\'ll have to get back to you on the pads. They\'re still in the box. Don\'t you have FD calipers now??
yea i had the rears in mind though. Or are these just for the front?
also do you have a pic of this TII lip?
Im just going to throw the pads in with the car i think. You can see the front lip spoiler in the 3rd picture in with the smiley face on the link.
Just so everyone knows, im not going to break the car... she\'s far too good for that.

Wonderfull, lets see what happens, i\'m hopefull it will only be small, and even then i dont have to much money and wont get much for the RX needing a lot of work.

I\'m going to have to wash and polish the bleedin thing again :-(
for two reasons;
A) Bought that "ICE" polish from turtle wax - DO NOT BUY THIS!
B) The contractors at my work site decided they needed to move all their Heavy Plant
right past my car and now it\'s dusty as hell and looks like it\'s been rallying.
Also car has had 2x new ball joints at £90 each.
I\'m lowering the price to £400 if it doesn\'t go soon then it may have to be off to the scrappy :-( I need rid of sharpish
