Title: How to put the origial base map on a pfc
Post by: neil_jdmr on August 27, 2008, 04:59:47 PM
Ill start by pointing out i probably wont do this myself as i only have to wait a couple of weeks for pip to work his magic but:

I realised i had no idea how to do this so,

Is it easy? surely its just a factory reset.

Anyone? what does it take, Maybe a factory basemap must be uploaded to it but that to me seems like a apexi sales pitch.

You need the commander to re-initialize the PFC. This will then go thru the self learning process again.

depends on the model of power fc, the originals base map isnt supposed to be very good but the newer ones are supposedly pretty good for exhaust, decat, filter and front mount...

oh and to make it go back to the base map, plug it in, connect the commander, turn the ignition on but dont start the car, on the commander locate the ETC menu press next, go to all data init, press next, highlight yes, press next, turn the ignition off and back on and you have the base map, do a sensor check etc then start it...
