i know its each to thier own but do you not think that these cars have beautiful lines and look great?

slapping a few tubs of filler and fibreglass on and then sanding to a lovely blunt flat edge....

Don\'t mind the kit, but what the $*&@! is going on with that sunroof? Every Burnout kitted car seems to have the stupid thing sticking up like...well...words fail me, tbh...like a really big silly flap thing, I suppose. Surely the sunroof on an RX-7 just lifts and slides back horizontally, doesn\'t it? Does that mean they\'ve actually been modified to look that silly?

I\'ve noticed that almost every US rx7 has a sunroof
You\'d think they all want air con.

I do like some body kits, and i liked this one at first but the when i found out how much the real one is i went right off it! I know its suppsed to be subtle but for me it doesnt change the look of the car enough to justify the price tag. Plus now its seems very popular and there\'s copies eveywhere. :(

Yep, the sunroof must be modified. Mine doesn\'t do that (unless the Jap Spec Type X\'s like mine are different). Surely this would create drag? I use mine all the time (yes, even in the UK) as you know RX7\'s get warm inside, so I have the sunroof open when I can, you get less noise than the window, more light inside, fresh air, and still keep warm!

On another note, i\'m pretty sure all UK/US came with the standard steel sunroof. The glass one came along later. Not many people have them, as  they were only available on the Type X, which after 94 was auto only, and most people try to buy a manual. When I was looking for mine in Japan, I specifically looked for a Type X, Pre 94, to get the extras (leather, sunroof, cruise control) but in a manual!

On that blue FD I like the front end, but the back completely destroy\'s the lines of the car.  It doesnt flow in the slightest and the angle it comes out at makes it look like it\'s been stuck on with some double sided sticky tape as a joke.

This kit is one of those that looks great in pics but when in the flesh doesn\'t really look that brill,

i think it all depends on alloys and the height of the car to get it right :Thumbs-up

the biggest problem with this kit is the advert pictures of it showed a rex that was lowered about 5 inch and wheel camber so agressive the tirs would wear out in 5 miles. got the effect, when i had kit i was disapointed with it. for the money it cost anyways. think its a good value kit if you get it from shine autos in the states. but not genuine from jap

All kits look good when the car has a stance that is not drivabel. That is why the RE & Fujita kits are more functional than style. This is also the reason I picked RE & FEED parts for my car. They add a little agression but dont detract from the original styling. When I chose a kit for my car I wanted something that made the car look like a special edition from Mazda. The key is to keep the body lines flowing like water over rocks.

I built a Burnout kitted FD a couple of years back. I truly believe it was (perhaps still is!) the only one that nailed the stance. Awful pics I know, but here are a few pics to whet the Burnout fan\'s appetites again!

As low as it looks, it was genuinely totally drivable as well. Never found a bump it struggled with and never caught on the arches!

Yes, it was, mate. I sold it a good year or so ago to a lad somewhere in the Blackpool direction. Since then I noticed it was for sale from a trader in the Brummie area. I spoke to the trader about the possibility of buying it back, but he was a bell end who knew nowt about cars so I left her as a memory!

Wow looks really nice Andy,
My RE-a GT-AD kit arches have about an inch clearance from the 17\'s but still managed to scrub like hell about 25 deg left turn :P
Must have been lucky/well thought out with yours!

In fairness, I think he would have struggled describing Fred Flintstone\'s car!
