Title: Rx7 Lump into a Mazda BF 323 Turbo...
Post by: the haywood on August 26, 2008, 01:55:55 PM
hey guys and girls (and andy parker sorry but i dont know what he is)

I\'m thinking about putting the engine out of an RX7 into my Mazda 323 BF Turbo... but i\'m after a bit of advice if possible please :)

main questions would be....
what\'s the average cost of a rex lump nowadays including ancilleries basically maybe the full package...

also does anyone have any idea what sort of fabrication would be needed to get all this to fit?

would the rx7 engine be able to run off my current gearbox or would it be more likely my mazda being converted to RWD instead of AWD.

any help would be great.. i just hope this is the right section else i\'ll no doubt get :flamed

Hello fella!  Andy is down as Chopper2k2 or summit :)

You can buy the lump with anciliries for around £1500 I would have thought, does depend on the condition/mileage of the engine.

I assume you mean the engine out of an FD? (13bRew)
