Title: UK washer bottle and Bose
Post by: SiH on August 24, 2008, 08:52:23 AM
I\'ve got my WI kit ready to fit, and was thinking of using a washer bottle from a UK car to mount in the boot.

However, my car has the Bose tubes of wonderment, and i don\'t want to ditch them - does anyone know if you can use the two together? did any of the uk cars come with the Bose system? Some of the other trim in the boot seems to be a bit different so i didn\'t know if the rear panel was the same and may cause issues?

Cheers guys :)
Si

I made a small aluminium plate and mounted mine from the cross member in front of the radiator if you get stuck that may be an alternative.

Yeah, i\'d thought about something like that, but the UK spec bottle provides such a neat and discreet solution, and i can hide the pump below the boot as well - optimum discretion :)

With mine it was a case of having to make a bracket someone had fixed the resevoir container with cable ties and when I looked closely it had flattend all the fins on the A/C rad. But yes discreet fitting is better, are there no problems with pressure loss?

The coolingmist kit i\'ve got is supposedly fine with a bit of a run on the high pressure side :)
Bay\'s a bit crowded with the V-mount so at the back would be good :)
