Title: aeromotive fuel regulator fitment
Post by: cyman on August 15, 2008, 01:27:22 PM
i have got my twin power to fit i have got the fuel pump wiring sorted and there is an aeromotive fuel pressure regulator on the forum that i am considering buying. however after speaking to reworx about them fitting it they have asked if i have all the fittings needed....

does anyone know if there is a fitting kit available for these or know exactley what i would have to buy to be able to fit this.

reworx are advising to fit an fse regulator but they dont seem to be highly thought of on the forum unless anyone wants to set me straight on that.

as far as i am aware you will need to get some -6 fittings and -6 braided hose.

Also you will need an adapter for the secondary fuel rail to convert to -6

thanks

Depends on the model of Aeromotive reg. They do one with -10 fittings too which can be a ball ache to step down to the -6 that you need.

put some pictures or links to what you have or are looking at and we can tell what you need, it may have tails already fitted ad you can just fit it after the standard FPR, much easier than getting to your existing FPR and removing it.

Nothing wrong with FSE,  just get the 1-1 rising one not 1-3 rising.  Distinguishable by the fat rubber between the ali top and bottom.

It won\'t come with the right fittings (its me selling it). If I was to use it I was going to buy the correct fittings from //www.thinkauto.com
