Alright North East folks,
Ive just noticed that there is a Jap event on at York Dragway on August bank holiday. The show is called "JAP 2NZ (TUNERS)" and its Sunday 24th August.
I havent been to the event before, but I think JNE are going.
Anyone fancy it for a laff, even if its just to show rather than run what ya brung? York used to be class, but I havent been in ages!

I may be interested to come and show. (pip\'s just repaired the car after I broke it at Rotostock, so I best not run the strip again until I have some use from it).
Only problem with York is the very poor access road on site, it shakes your fillings out.

A1 is easiest for me as I\'m only a stones throw from junction 58 but I\'m easy , I\'ll just go with the flow
Quickest for me would be the M62, coming off for Bridlington. But I\'m happy to come a different route if its not too far.
Let me know.

Meeting Tintin at Scoth Corner at 8:30 to head south to A64 services for 10:00am. I take it its just off the A1 and easy to spot?

so 10am is that the services where there are 2 petrol stations on opposite sides of road just after joining a64 from a1/m1?

In case you do not know, the Leeds Music Festival is on this weekend. I know there were long traffic delays on Friday, but I would not expect the same on Sunday morning.
If your meeting around 10ish, I will aim to arrive at the raceway about 10.30 as I\'ll be coming from the M62.

Well the roads are damp but the sky is blue this morning. tintin if you lads come off the A1 at the A59(Harrogate) and head York we can convoy to the services, plus i think its a little shorter.

Karl , I was running , not my best day but managed a 13.4 which I was sort of happy with considering it was virtually un-preped (12.8 was my previous best on a 1/4 mile of superglue at pod :D) , I actually managed to come 11th on the day
