Title: reasonably priced tyres
Post by: dthebuk on August 06, 2008, 10:47:36 PM
ok i havn\'t got too much money at the moment and the tyres on the car are slowly becoming illegal, so im going to need some new front tyres. I know absolutely nothing about the different makes of tyres when it comes to whats god and whats not.

So i could someone please point me in the direction of cheapish tyres that are not ditch finders? These are for a non turbo 2nd gen

thanks :D

Relatively cheap with good grip in wet and dry try Falken 452\'s.  I have them on my stock FD rims and have found them to be good in all weather.  Paid £74 each including fitting and balancing (16x8 225x50x16)

You can get cheaper tyres but I wouldnt touch them!

I\'m running Kuhmo Ku15 on the FD. Seem quite good. Not too expensive either !

Ring round local dealers they sometimes give you better quotes.

just looked on all 3 sites,

for Falken FK-452 245/40 R18 Y:

black circles £117.23 each Inc fitting

mytyres £114.30 Inc fitting

camskill £100.10 delivered...but not inc fitting

Fitting is usually £10/20 a wheel is it not? Im going to go with MyTyres.
