Easily better looking than the black Ferrari 612, red Ferrari F430, silver Exige, two red Mustangs that I also saw this morning on the way to work [is it a take your weekend car to work day today or something?]

Very nice car... I\'ve always thought FDs looked best in silver and completely stock... but your nose & rear diffuser setup really look great :driving What kind of diffuser is that? On a stock rear bumper? [I didn\'t get too good a look as I went past.]

Dan - the car is a UK FD (leather, aircon, cruise, sun-roof all-that!) but the rear bumper is japanese, I\'m not entirely sure what the diffuser is someone suggested it was an RE-Amemiya but I doubt it - i\'m not really sure it looks a bit like the RE-A pro so I could be wrong - http://www.fd3s.net/diffuser/index.html. The front bumper is "gram" I think.

All of the bodykit was on the car when I bought it. I\'ve been a bit undecided about it for a while. Just the other week I was thinking of taking it all back to standard but now I think I\'ll leave it as it is - esp as I\'ve just raised the suspension up for a bit more streetability - the kit doesn\'t feel so impractical now. I saw a UK rear bumper on ebay not too long ago going pretty cheap and it was silver! I don\'t think they look as nice with the long number plate and foglights tho.
Are you local to Woking then? Were you at the Brooklands meet not too long ago? We\'re in Bisley - perhaps we should meet up sometime and talk rx-7s!

Unfortunately the guy selling it started messing about on the price... I offerred him a reasonable amount more, but he kept coming back asking for more & more... :2Mad
In the end I decided to forget it... didn\'t want to drive all the way to Birmingham to pick it up, and then have him ask for yet more money. I wasn\'t quite *that* bothered to have a UK spec. bumper... I\'m trying to run the Rex without incurring (too much) unnecessary extra expense. [Petrol costs enough!!!]

Yes we should definitely get together to talk 7... finding the time is my problem! [First things first... I\'ve been pulling the RX apart to fix lots of little niggly things that aren\'t showstoppers but have been bugging me... so I need to reassemble my giant kit/puzzle :) ]
