Argh! I have my wideband gauge all wired up and working. Just need to put the whole lot back together for RS now. However, the problem is I don\'t know what to do about the gauge. I am planning on having it on the dash just above the central speaker. It\'s approx 52mm wide. It has a U shaped bracket that is bolted onto the back.
I tried attaching it using double side tape, but because the contact area of the gauge is small, it didn\'t hold. I have been thinking about making another u shaped bracket to bolt to the other bracket and using some double sided sticky tape on that to stick it to the dash board.
I don\'t know why I\'m telling anyone, as no-one can really help. It\'s just there\'s a lot to put back together, and I only have 3 evenings to do it! Argh!
if its 52 mm wide cant you fit it in to a pod either a pillar or dash mounted
dunno! :D What sort of 52mm gauge mounts are there!!?
Gary sells the dash pods, I got mine fitted 60mm version.
or superglue it lol
I like the superglue idea! :D
Cheers Mark, I\'ll check out Gary\'s site.
If its square best bet is to use hook and loop tape. My commander is stuck on that way :D
Is it a round gauge or square ?
Shaun
If its just a bodge you want to get it on for now try a jubilee clip round the gauge and before you tighten the clip fit a flat peice of plastic/card etc inside the jubilee then tighten down.
Use the flat piece to stick to your dash with double sided sticky pads etc.
A proper bodge really.
In fact im a bit ashamed to suggest it:3Confused

I really like that idea! :D
However, i have something sorted. It\'s only one \'bodge level\' above yours!! :D But it works, and thats the important thing. It won\'t be falling in my lap going down the strip.
