Title: OK to start?
Post by: iiyama on March 21, 2004, 05:20:13 PM
Will it be ok to drive the car back inot the garage, (slight uphill run so dont want to push it!!!), with out the throttle elbow connected? I know this means that the turbos are not pressurising the manifold so will this cock up the ECU settings? Only need to run it for a couple of minutes!! :-) Or would it be safer to wait till I get the throttle elbow back?

the car will run will with out ok without the elbow as the FD has no Airflow Meter but i would be more concerned about only letting her run for a minute or 2,  you are are asking for flooding problems.  a couple of mates sound like a good idea.

Yes it will be fine mate to run like that. Shouldn\'t flood the car by running it as long as 2 minutes, even with your petrol guzzling ecu you have fitted.
