Title: Best set up!
Post by: Rotorboy65 on March 21, 2004, 12:54:00 PM
Need some advice been reading Jap performance mag this morning. They have been running an  article on the best suspension set ups etc, havin read through it I still seem to be in the dark. At the end of their write up they have put a list of Scooby, Skyline and Pulsar best set ups as recommended by their respected tuners, once again the RX7 has been left out.

I would like too know what you other guy\'s are using, Iam looking at fast road use only not track orientated. Is it best too go for just a straight damper up grade or would people advice lowering springs plus new dampers. This worries me as I\'m running 18 inch wheels and I\'m concerned about clearance etc. Also would anyone reccomend coil overs are these rock hard and do they lower the car. Or is it best too just keep the setup as factory, is it worth splashing out on uprated anti roll bars, new bushes or maybe polyurethane bushes.

I would like too have a set up thats not going too make my bank manager cry when he checks my account, so value is the key word. Would I be silly just chucking loads of money at it, or is there a more budget friendly way too approaching the problem, if any one can advice on their different experiences and set ups any advice will be greatly excepted.

Wow thats alot of questions for a Sunday afternoon hope you guy\'s can advice best regards Leigh.
