FEED do one for the FD which is ok but quite expensive at around £80 shipped.  Then customs charges on that so expect around £100.

If however you dont mind abit of front bumper modification then driftworks do a really good heavy duty one which you can mount to the front of your FD.  They come in around £40 and look nice powder coated red.

Im currently putting a driftworks one on my new FD, just have to make a small cut in the front end.

Ouch was hoping to not have to pay more than £20 for one.
I only want it for Rotorstock and the odd track day.  It feels almost like a preparation for the engine going pop so I can be towed away :-(

Mine cost zero. i used the rear engine lift hook, bolted it on to the existing tow bracket, and comes out at just the right angle and place in the front end. ill try and get a pic up.
Though i will get a driftworks one sometime.

Well yeah but I\'ve got used to that now and only sweat whilst the engines running.  Sometimes I just like to sit in her making revving noises as thats cheaper than a rebuild :Giggle

Fancy getting a pic up then mate. I\'ve got a spare engine lift eye and im just curious on how you\'ve mounted yours.

Hi Robbie,

Just remembered tyour text! (Been on & under car till 10.30 :spank)

Yeah I do have the UK towing hook, but somewhere, I cant for the life of me find it.  I was asked for it before cause Spen\'s mate wanted to buy it off me - couldnt find for him either :(

This reminds me, I must sort one out for mine. It will save alot of dicking about as every time I breakdown the RAC man always has problems towing me up onto the low loader because the nose is in the way of the standard tow hook.

Ive come up with a little plan without spending much money. This will use 2 17mm bolts onto the exisiting location as the uk spec towing eye. By using 5mm think angle iron it should put up with the stress ok. Then just buy a vauxhall towing eye to screw into the iron plate when i need it. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-OPEL-TOWING-EYE-ASTRA-CORSA-VECTRA-OMEGA-ETC_W0QQitemZ120288102799QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item120288102799&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318#ebayphotohosting
