Title: My New RX7
Post by: SavageUK on July 30, 2008, 09:42:57 AM
Its safe to say that my first RX7 left big tire marks all over my heart, we parted ways but as the old saying goes, absense makes the heart grow fonder so im back :

Recently rebuilt engnie by the good fellow i bought it off, is still on the standard ECU so i need to get me an APEXI ECU , if anyone can give me some info on how to find the right model or has one for sale let me know :)

Runs sweet, once its got its new ECU itll be spot on :)

Not much difference from standard spec, the induction kit of unknown origin :P the split rims and the RX8 style rear lights. Not so keen on those lights, they may be coming off for some standard ones :)
:burnout

Apart from the god awful rear lights, that looks like a nice example!

Good luck with it! :)

Very clean example there mate. the Apexi you need to get is an 8 bit 92 - 95 model. Yea, deffinatley an RE:Amemiya filter, rear lights have got to go in my opinion. the rear wheels need to be swaped from side to side as the spoke pattern is sitting differently from the front ;)

One thing I would say though...... move the front reg plate! you will run hot & starve the intercooler in summer weather (if we ever get any!!)

Looks good, wheels are different, what are they? Another vote against the rear lights, sorry, mate! Induction could be Gracer if it isn\'t Amemiya? Looks like a nice, industrial strength AST in there too, should help you sleep at nights a bit, that\'s never gonna split!

Ive just been out and looked, cant believe i never noticed it :P its the fronts that need swapping over, so tyres will have to come off :Thumbsup! and the plates allready gone ;)

They are Panasport wheels, Racing/G7, ive had no look finding them on the internet mind. And they are missing the centre caps :P

Todays job is going through finding why my dash doesnt light up at night with lights on :P boost gauge does tho ;)

Nice REX mate sorry to go on but the rear light just let it down apart from that spot on. I\'m looking for a apexi for mine same type needed as yours 8-bit 92-95.
