Demon tweaks or most other tuning companys sell it.
Depends on the diametre of your pipe but it comes in 50foot rolls.
Go for 2inch wide.
If its a standard down pipe you will struggle with the cast section because of its shape.
Take the pipe of if you can its better that way but it is a balls ache.

Try //www.japshop.co.uk.  They have many different lengths, but you looking at around £80 for a roll. They have some listed in the Mazda RX7 Manifolds section.

Just out of interest have you thought of getting it ceramic coated instead ?? If your taking it off you could just as easily get it coated.

Wouldn\'t cost much more and is very capable :

tbh mate I dont plan on keeping the twins forever so its just a cheapie mod really.

Yehreally that was a bit more than I wanted to spend I\'m afraid, demon tweeks do a 15 foot length which I think will be enough for £16 then £10 for the ties. But cheers anyway.

Fitting exhaust wrap helps reduce under bonnet temps, but more importantly it improves gas flow out of the engine by keeping the gas hot which means it wont slow down in the pipe.
Basically the greater the velocity the faster the pressure drop in the system and the higher the efficiency.
Faster gas = more power.
Thats todays lesson over.
Stick that on your pipe and smoke it.

Right, got my heatwrap now.

Just one other question, do you just wrap and tie with the metal tiewraps ? There is no sealing with a particular type of sealer is there ?

wrap it as tight as you can
make sure there is a overlap under the tie
job done

I\'m sure I saw somewhere it needs to be soaked before wrapping. Aids to keep the dust levels down. Sure one of the biker build off builders did it !

Yip....got to soak it...It makes it more pliyabel & when tightly wraped when wet then left to dry it will expand slightly & tighten over the pipe even more. If you can get the special spray to seal it then do so.
