Title: Replacing electric aerial with static one
Post by: <--rYaN--> on March 20, 2004, 04:01:29 PM
I\'ve just got round to replacing my electric aerial with a manual one. I disconnected the power to the electric one and the black cable that has the male/female plug that you connect the new aerial into.

Now when i plugged in the new aerial and no power was connected to the old electric one, the head unit would not come on, replace the male/female connection to the electric one and it does instantly. Why is this and how can i get around it??

Thanks

Ryan

I think its something to do with the earth. You will need to wire in an earth for the headunit at a guess
