Title: Decent mobile mechanic ( Midlands )
Post by: Habanos on July 27, 2008, 03:13:15 PM
Hi guys,

Following yesterday\'s incident ( thanks for the input on that ), the Rex isn\'t happy starting and even if it did I don\'t really fancy driving it anyway until the belts have been checked or removed. I\'m not feeling too confident removing belts etc.

So it got me thinking, does anyone know of a decent mobile mechanic that knows about Rex\'s in the midlands? ( I\'m in Leicestershire )

I guess belt removal etc doesn\'t warrant knowing too much about Rex\'s, I suppose anyone handy with a spanner could do it. Which kind of rules me out. Wheels and brakes I can handle, belt removal has got me worried.

My wife\'s 6 months pregnant and, well let\'s put it like this, when I mentioned paying to trailor it up to WGT it didn\'t go down well.

Any contacts you have would be appreciated.

Cheers,

JB

If you have the tools, just get stuck in - it\'s dead easy. You\'ll be fine - just get the tension on them right when doing them back up. It\'s a good intro into home mechanics.
