Title: 97 efini RX7 tracking and wheel alignment???
Post by: Richard Cox on July 27, 2008, 12:29:06 AM
I am the proud owner of a bog standard and fairly mint 97 EFINI RX7.I just want to know what the standard manufacturer settings for the tracking, wheel alignment and geometry are as she drifts just a little to the left and when the exporter put the standard steering wheel back on before export he put it back on slightly off centre.( ? + * } ) .I have also heard that you can run 19" wheels without messing up the handling is this true?

Hi

As I understand it, 17\'s are thought to be best for handling, although 18\'s aren\'t too bad.  However, 19\'s (i believe) do make a mess of the handling/ride quality...

As for the wheel alignment, theres a few threads on it under the \'wheels & tyres, suspension & brakes\' forum...

I second that
I had heavy 18s on mine, changed them for some light weight mazdaspeed 17s......a huge improvement, didnt feel like the tyres were made of wood so much! haha
