Post by: N777CK T on July 26, 2008, 12:20:28 AM
Just got a pfc and wondered if it can save 2 settings like 1 for full performance and another  for economy?

I`ve got 2 boost settings on mine, 0.7/0.8 and 0.8/0.9. can be found by looking in setting then boost and hey presto there it is!

I can\'t hold two maps (fuel/ignition), but I think it can have two boost settings so make sure your mapped for the higher boost setting obviously.

Bought my car with two boost settings already in the pfc, looking in the manual it shows exactly the same settings as i have.(would take a guess that they are already in there)! Do a google search for the pfc manual, cant remember where i found mine but printed a pdf off. very handy!

Quick answer: No

However, what you do is if you want to have it mapped for economy what you usually do is at a particular speed in 5th gear you usually have it mapped so that it is as lean as possible whilst keeping it safe. So you don\'t actually need two maps.
