Split rims.  Thats gonna be expensive, especially if they are 3 piece.

Dont know anywhere around Scotland for it.

Well I guess it depends how much your expecting it to cost.  You will either have a rough idea already, or ill see a post from you in a couple of days saying the wheels arnt that bad really for now :p

It should make it a lot cheaper if you are prepared to do some of the work yourself.  Most the cost on split rims is the removal of all the Hex Bolts.  My friend took his apart seperatly and took the bits for refurb.  Thats on 2 piece though.

When you put them back together you need to be carefull and need to know what to torque them too.

Post in a couple of days saying they are fine. :rollin  More than likely!!!

I\'m getting rough ideas at the moment as i\'m planning on doing a lot of work to my car this summer once i have moved out my flat and into a house with a garage. I can do a lot of work myself but living in the city centre its not that easy!!

Cheers

donato....

..I recently purchased an RX7 and my 17" spilt rims are a bit of a mess too..went to a place in airdrie ..called \'wheel servicing\'...looking for £350 to complete the job, inc balancing and values and some welding on one of the alloys (previous owners damage)...which is very reasonable..I\'ve got their card in the car..I post details later...

..haven\'t got mine done yet(Just replaced a door handle)...but I\'ll definitely be getting them done for the summer...they complete the job in a brilliant reflective finish..very high polished finish..they look fantastic!!!!
