As i\'ve mentioned in the title guys my new toy (93 type R) is running what i assume are recirculating valves ( are these the ones that are on the pipes running up to the ARC induction box?), my old skyline ran twin ARC vent to air and i kinda loved the whoosh ( see told you i was childish LOL), there doesnt seem to be a lot ( make that none) of room to fit twin VTA type valves, or am i being really stupid and they can be fitted elsewhere, and do i need to fit two ? any help much appreciated guys with thanks in advance :cool
I found that with my recirc valves in my FC, there was a small washer like thing in the pipework from the IC, I took that out and it got quieter, put it back in and it made it louder lol I don\'t know if its the same on the FD, but I seems if you restrict the recirc valve like it is OEM then it makes a cooler sound :D
Fitting a twin air intake will make it *much* more audible, even with the standard recycler :D
yea i thought about fitting HKS or blitz, but i,ve always been impressed with the quality and performance of ARC, so dont really want to change, so are those two valves that need replacing the ones on the inlet side and what are people on here using as replacements ? seen a picture of a HKS one fitted onto the top intercooler pipe think it was onto a XS power cooler, but couldnt tell from the pic what they had done to the recirc ones if anything:D
Different Filters make different sounds too ! Had 1 K&N and 1 HKS on the car and the timing was different too. The K&N sounded better and louder. Now gone to a single and I get a really nice chatter off boost that is awesome to hear :D

I get quite a quiet chatter on my stocks twins... how can I make it louder? Seems to only chatter when releasing the throttle off about up to 50% power... and more than that and it goes to full dump swoosh sound.
