Title: audio fuses
Post by: franky on July 21, 2008, 08:27:42 AM
took my rx7 out for a spin but just up the road my engine heat light came on and my radio stopped working and saw a bit of smoke come out my bonnet. i checked my radio fuse which had blown now the engine wasn\'t warm so nothing to do with that. what size fuse is ment to be in the radio fuse in the footwell and what in the engine bay is linked to the radio and intior lights?

chris

radio fuse should be a 10 amp but fine with a fifteen chris . not sure why you have smoke and the engine heat light is on but might be a wire thats spliced and its earthing out on a metal point check for burnt wires or cuts in the sheilding
