Cool, the chavs won\'t know whats hit \'em :)
The police can be an absolute joke though sometimes, I was told the other week that some guy got a ticket for parking outside the space (diagonally) because they couldn\'t find anything wrong with his car! as long as you have a reasonably good number plate and the usual things like good tyres, lights etc you shouldn\'t have a problem.
didnt have any problems with them last time, it seems like the younger lads and the stupid stunts they want to stop which is fair enough
but like you say give them no excuse :Giggle

Guess I\'d better tighten up my front plate for this then so it stops swinging up into the bumper :2Rolleyes
I\'m still up for this though :wiggle
I would join you Gents but I\'m camping in Snowdonia. You\'ll have to do with my bro instead, I\'ll see you all at RS5. :Giggle
Is this open to all, as i live quite local and work near to the caldecot arms, would like to join in if i have an MOT, (booked in for this Friday!)

Cheers Phil

How did it go with your MOT Gary? Got mine tomorrow, fingers crossed the car will be good for Sunday.
If you\'re coming along will you be driving from Long Buckby? Seems logical we travel down together (in separate cars of course :Viking) if so.
Car had service at RE:WORX, Brilliant service! Cheers guys!
And sailed through M.O.T so all is good thanks.
Sounds sensible to meet up,( maybe at Weedon BP garage or something like, don`t mind really even meet in Dav if you like!)
Good luck with your M.O.T tomorrow!!!
Weedon sounds to me like the most sensible place. Got all my limbs crossed for the MOT, first time with the rex and I\'ve not had much luck with previous cars (my old track Civic needed £800 of welding last time).

Was my first MOT too and was bricking it, where are you taking yours? somewhere local?
Thames Valley MOT in Reading after many recommendations.
That`s where i went, very good service and helpfull!!
Yeah that seems to be the response from everyone, very encouraging :)
Well my MOT went swimmingly, couldn\'t fault the service I received. Anyways, having got that out of the way successfully means I\'ll definitely be attending on Sunday.
Gary, seeing as you work near where we are going and probably have a better idea of how long it will take to get there, what sort of time would you suggest meeting at?
Nice one OD404 pleased MOT went well for you!
P.M sent to you with a rough meet time and my mobile number!
I\'ll be there at 18:30ish guys :)
Good good #;o)

Was good to meet you guys. Gary\'s car certainly attracts it\'s fair share of limelight and looked so mean in my mirrors on the way to the stadium :Viking

Stephen (just for you Phil :spank)
Here are some piccies I took at the meet. :Giggle
Didn\'t realise someone brought the Furai along on Sunday? Jeez I must be blind :Giggle
Can`t believe you missed it mate, should have gone to specsavers!:rollin
That\'s where I go, think I need my money back haha!
yes good to meet up with you all, lovely car Gary:Thumbsup!
had a look at the back wheel, jacked it up and put a bit of wood agaist the rim, it did have a slight difference (4mm) i check the near side and that seemed fine, i recently fitted new (second hand) discs and calipers my handbrake part failed on the passenger side and the discs that came with them were better than mine, the also came with the screws that hold the disc to the hub which i fitted, so i pulled the wheels off and removed them (there was a mark on the back of one wheel so it must have been sticking out) there is still a very slight differnece (2mm tops) but i dont think thats enough to worry as i say the car seems fine in the dry but thanks for the spot Phil :Thumbsup!
Mark
No worries bud, glad you\'ve checked it out and good to hear all is cool n funky #;o)

Nice one Mark, glad it was nothing to major! you have been a busy boy today with looking at rear wheel and fitting your new towing eye! Any more parts on there way?

lol no i wish just working from home today so i get the od 30mins ;)
still need to cut the grille/mesh around the toe eye and get it powder coated but the test fit was good and i though i may need it for RS5 :rollin:Thumbs-up
Mark
The only reason you would need the towing eye at rotorstock is if those dodgy tyres of yours smoke all the way down the strip and pop at the end!:burnout
sounds good to me, i have another 2 set of alloys at home so plenty of smokers!!! :burnout
Mark
my pics
