I think i have no choice but to break my fc3s T2?
Not entirely sure what\'s wrong but it was running rough and missfiring, then dropped a lot of oil.
As i\'m trying to save up to move out with my girlfriend, the car has to go and i need to get a sensible motor :mad:
if someone wants to make me an offer for it that\'s fine! otherwise, reply with any bits you people are interested in.
it\'s a series 5, good solid body, spent a lot of money getting the drivers side sill welded, no rust, paint is average, recent back boxes, hks turbo timer, RE Amemiya leads, samco hoses.
i also have a really nice set of BBS 15" vert wheels that need a good home.

Man thats a shame. If you have to break it, How much for the front lip spoiler the RE leads and the samco hoses?
what wheels you got ? What are you doing with the brakes if you brake it. Coz i\'ll have them. Assuming they will be a good upgrade for the egi ?

No strut braces! the exhaust is stock, back boxes are stock items with loads of life left in them(done about 2-3K)

S5 wheels in the pic with very good avon tyres all round
or 15" BBS vert wheels in very good condition (polished lip) i\'ll post pics soon!
Are you sure you need to break it? It seems such a shame after that small amount of time to take another one from the road!

As a matter of interest what miles is on the engine? Might be interested in the block for a rebuild later on.......much later on.

the milage is unknown? the car has 81K on the clock but the engine is not the original!

Have you ever investigated as to why your car dumped oil ? It might well be something very simple to fix. I hope its not another car for the scrappy in the sky.

the Oil seems to be leaking from the turbo oil return pipe?
Did a compression test and the front rotor is reading low, 75 ish
dont forget you have to read it with the engine warm
and 75 , humm you are looking at 90-100 for a GOOD engine
but if the back is the same then it might be ok - its 5.3 bar - which is pretty low thoug
Like grinder says, you\'re not going to get a good reading with a cold engine. I presume you did it cold due to your oil problem? Was it running OK before the oil \'dump\'?
Is it a good shell mate? ie Has it had much welding to the floor / sills? If it\'s good then it\'s a real shame to scrap it.
i did run the car for a few minutues to see where the oil was coming from, so the engine was warm when i tested compression!
The shell is generally good and solid, the only welding is on the driver side sill.
Maybe the engine is a bit on the \'lazy\' side then, if it was warm enough when tested?
If you do have to strip it (which will be a shame), and once you\'ve sold any \'goodies\' off it I may be interested in taking away the \'rolling\' shell to save it. It would have to be a rolling shell though so it could be trailered away. Realistically I probably couldn\'t do this until late august / early September due to work / holiday commitments (and the fact that you\'re so far away!!).

i don\'t want it sitting around for too long, so as early as you can!

Not for definite but mine are 4 pot FD calipers from what I\'ve been told. I didn\'t do the swap so all I know is mine are really good.

How many miles has your car done?
I\'d be interested in the LSD Housing and maybe LSD also depending on condition and price.
Also are your headlight housing, are the bulbs inbuilt with the housing as one or are the bulbs seperate?
If Prof cant find his for me then i\'d also want the headlight housing.

have you got the cruise control solonoid bracket, the one that hold the unit to the bulkhead in the engine bay. Held on by 2 bolts and then the contol unit bolts to this bracket on the rubberised mounts.
I also need a TII intake, the one that sits on the rad.
