Title: Gear knob?
Post by: Kevin on July 11, 2008, 02:14:41 PM
Anyone know what gear knob this is that DS200 has in his FD, a few pictures down in this link?

http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30177

Looking for a new gear knob, but hate how all the aftermarket ones feel.   Got a Greddy gear knob at the moment and it feels awful, cheap, nasty, etc. Looking for leather oem type fitment.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I was going to ask the same question on that thread, my standard one is getting a little tired.

I\'ve been tempted to go for a nice firm German knob like this one (I\'m sorry, it\'s pathetic. But you can\'t not do knob gags on a thread like this)http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Leather-Gear-Knob-Mazda-2-3-5-6-323-626-MX-5-RX-7-370_W0QQitemZ280245149733QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item280245149733&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318. Theriouthly, though, these do seem to be quite good at a reasonable price, and not too dissimilar to the standard one.

link shamelessly stolen from Rx7club.com (http://www.avojdm.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_28_31&products_id=67&osCsid=8b7bba805e101726329b7853b1f7786e)
i really like the look of this, would match the stitching on my momo steering wheel as well!
