Depends if there\'s a financial transaction or if it is purely a hobby!

If you\'re doing it for £ then that\'s exactly why we added the "not really a company but I do a bit on the side" trader sign-up on thop of the "proper VAT reg\'d company" vendory thing.

If there\'s no £ changing hands and no implied warranty for your mapping etc then I doubt it\'s a problem to the team.

This thread was started to say thank you to mark for what he did to my car on my request.

If people want to ask mark to do the same to their car its hardly him pushing his wares.  I have never seen at any point BlitzBoy putting up a mapping thread with a charge so id say all should be good,  Keep up the good work buddy !!!!

Agreed Iain it is a hobby but some money does exhange hands to cover the wear and tear of the sensors and periodical loss of the exhaust clamps and a drink.
So thats why I dont really want this thread that John has posted saying "thank you" to turn into a thread seen as advertising, so feel free to close :Thumbs-up

I have absolutely no problem with that mark - I\'ll ask the question of the Team though.

Agreed that this is indeed a thank you thread and not an advert.  Definately not your fault if people get in touch with you as a result of it is it!

I think it\'s great that people in the rotary community are prepared to things like this for no reward other than a pint and pat on the back.
