Post by: fesuvious on July 09, 2008, 06:05:55 PM
Hi, the missus\' RX7 has flooded itself ( again ) and I cannot remember for the life of me which fuse has to be pulled to cut off the fuel pump....

then its just turn the engine on the key till she fires..? (the car, not the missus)

Thanks

From memory it\'s the 30a fuse in the very middle of the pack (long thin box, 5 fuses mounted on passenger side).

could try flooring while cranking for a while... this stops the fuel injecting and it might just start.

Fuel pump fuse is right next to the radiator mate if it hasnt been relocated.
I would suggest taking the plugs out and pulling EGI and fuel fuse out and crank it for about 10 sec. Repeat this process 2 or 3 times, clean and heat up the spark plugs, put all the fuses back in and try again. Make sure your battery is charged otherwise you would have to repeat the process again.

If it doesnt start repeat the process untill it does.

It always works for me.

Cheers

might be worth while getting new sparks in also bud. Mine flooded once and it was the sparks, changed them and it\'s been fine since
