Title: need some help with rx7 spec

hi guys
 
need help here
 
Am taking my RX7 to Fast and Modified (scotlands big car show) and am on www.clanjapan.co.uk (http://www.clanjapan.co.uk) stand. The thing is we are having Spec sheets in the windows of the cars so need wee bit of help filling it out
 
ie standard bhp, (not had it on the RR yet) tourque stuff like that

you should tell us what type of rex you have ie type r,rs,etc plus what have you done to it, im sure you can fill the ice part yourself plus any mods...

thats the thing am not sure what 1 it is, has the twin oil coolers and storage bins in the back...
 
doing the mods stuff is no prob just dont know the touque or bhp standard

well 95 plate you must have an rs model with 280hp and 314nm torque. body style is a coupe, engine 1308cc, top speed i think 156mph the rest i dont no hope that helps

There were no 280hp rx7 until they revised the turbo\'s in 1999.

You have a 1995 FD therefore it\'ll probably be a type r2 or rb bathhurst etc, it\'s still on the 8bit ECU.  Your HP will be 255 standard.

Body style and engine will still be coupe and 1308cc.  Top speed still round the 150mph.

Engine mods is whatever you\'ve done, cant see much from that photograph apart from it\'s still on twins, HKS filters, HKS dumpvalve and v-mount.

yer that about right there with mods but got twin hybrid turbos on 0.3 bar, street port..

yep the hybrids can only take 0.9 bar max, they been set like that for run in period

What make hybrids are they?  That seems very poor just under 13psi?

Lol, what makes you say that?

Why must it be an RS? no 95 car will be 280bhp stock. Everything pre-96 will be 255 or 265bhp stock. What stuff has the car got inside? the main differences are interior stuff. If its fairly basic you\'ve probably got an R2.

hahah know you was going to ask that and am not to sure... a bought it off a mates dad it was his project but had to give it up, so av toke it over
 
Yer is bit low but had a scooby in the past and even as it is now its quicker, we put it up to 0.6 but blow hoses off so jsut left it way is for now, aye have put in the v-mount and other stuff just saving up for the apexi and remap next

Cool, no worries was just interested in spec of them.  So you still running the standard ecu?...

there in the org turbo casing up have a dif blade setup tho... so just had the internals changed av never been bothereed what kind until now hahah but will find out for you
 
A was told still on the standard ECU but it has been chipped or altered, this is the problem when a went to see it was a bit to excited and dint really pay attention to what he was saying about the car much jsut wanted to get in it and go a drive haha

Problem with these cars, there like women, look gorgeous but hide a wealth of problems which you dont see on the first date! :spank:Thumbsup!

there better than women as the dont rev at you, when you take another car out for a spin!
