Title: Relocating battery to boot
Post by: Cashpoint on July 01, 2008, 05:29:21 PM
As I can\'t decide if i\'m going to sell the car or not i\'m going to continue to mod it as the housing market is pants. Current step it to clear the engine bay by moving the battery to the boot.

Does anyone have a good install in the boot rather than leaving the battery "loose" in the boot. Pics would be helpful can it fit in one of the bins in the boot such as where the jack is ?
 Thanks

Previously in my car....

Kit sold to riceraceruk on FDUK though....

I seriously wouldn\'t have the battery loose in the boot, not even temporarily.....

High density foam easy to cut. Up side you don`t lose boot space down side no spare wheel.

If you were to use a slim battery could you get it to fit under a standard seat, passenger or drivers?
