Hi Guys

How can you tell the difference between 99spec twin turbos and earlier ones?

I presume you\'re talking about the turbo pack? Is so, the pack used on the 280ps cars will have the black abraidable seals surrounding the turbine blades. The turbo pack code is also different (N3G1 instead of NC31). The 265ps cars 99-02 still used the same packs as previous FD\'s.

The ones that i have taken off were meant to be 99ones.  They have N3C1  A written on them and look in excellent condition.  Not sure if these are 99 spec?:Hammer:Hammer i want to sell so just wanted to know exactly what they are....not gonna look for mega money either as they have no use to me.:Hammer

If they are N3C1 then they are the standard ones not used on the 280hp FDs. They may well have come from a later FD, so may be quite a young set though. As said previously, the key visible sign of them being the ones from the 280hp FDs is the black seal lining the housing around the turbine blades. Very easy to see.
